「ねこだるま」は、日本の縁起物である高崎だるまをベースに、アーティストai sayamaが独自にデザインしたオリジナルのだるまです。伝統的なだるまの形を活かしつつ、猫のモチーフを融合させたユニークな作品です。
だるまは、達磨大師の座禅姿が元になっており、倒れても起き上がる日本の伝統的な縁起物です。開運招福や商売繁盛、家内安全など持ち主の幸せを願うものです。
・雷門
正面お腹に「雷門」の文字、背面に花火の柄。
「雷門」は歴史ある浅草寺の門の名前。背面の花火は日本で一番有名な隅田川の花火をイメージ。
アーティストai sayamaのアトリエが台東区谷中にあるご縁で、台東区 べらぼう 江戸たいとう 大河ドラマ館の企画に合わせ制作した特別な商品です。
“Neko Daruma” is an original daruma designed by artist ai sayama, based on the Takasaki daruma, a Japanese lucky charm. It is a unique piece that incorporates a cat motif while retaining the traditional daruma shape.
Daruma originate from the seated meditation posture of Bodhidharma and are traditional Japanese lucky charms that stand back up even when knocked over. It is believed to bring good fortune, prosperity in business, household safety, and overall happiness to its owner.
・Kaminarimon
Features the characters “雷門” (Kaminarimon) on the front belly and a fireworks pattern on the back.
“Kaminarimon” is the name of the historic gate of Sensoji Temple. The fireworks on the back represent Japan's most famous fireworks display, the Sumida River Fireworks Festival.
This special product was created in conjunction with the Taito Ward Bera-bou Edo Taito Taiga Drama Museum project, inspired by the connection that artist ai sayama's studio is located in Yanaka, Taito Ward.
